I know only a few basic things ... that three "grades" if you will were imported 1) pre-ban ones that are very rare, 2) post-ban ARM/RML type rifles, and 3) post-ban MISR rifles. I had the day off so a friend of mine and I went on a bit of a gun/pawn shop circuit. We hit about 15 ... I had an RML model and that was a good '90s post-ban Maadi. So add that to your good list. Still wish I had it because it really is better than the Romy SAR-1 I replaced it with (for the sake of the optics rail on the SAR-1). The laminated wood thumbhole stock was a piece of AWB crap though. Now, this doesn't all make sense, because a ban Maadi is good for just under $400, yet swap in new furniture and compliance parts and they're only worth $50 or $75 more. Recently I purchased an Egyptian MAADI AK47(RML model imported by Pars) in its original import sporting configuration, including the wooden furniture with a thumbhole stock. While I don't mind the thumbhole stock necessarily, I've also thought some about converting it to use a normal pistol grip, etc.
